“Dreams can come true, but there is a secret. They’re realized through the magic of persistence, determination, commitment, passion, practice, focus and hard work. They happen a step at a time, manifested over years, not weeks.”

Elbert Hubbard

Just after my last blog from Tel Aviv, things got quite eventful. The first thing was I actually got to meet the legend that it Quentin Tarantino (I will probably be telling the story for years to come). Due to doing tv work, I say am not easily starstruck but I have to admit, although I hid it well, that theory went out the window.

Although unrelated, before departing from Tel Aviv, I found out I’d been booked for a TV job back in the UK the day after. Id also been booked on another popular series the week before just as I’d arrived back from Hyderabad but this time was a race against time. The flight was slightly delayed which meant I only arrived in London around 22.30 local time, then I had to make the 200 mile commute home to Liverpool. After arriving home around 02.30, it was a case of shower, sleep, up in the morning, pack a few things in a bag then make the 50 mile car drive to the job.

It is never normally that close but I made it on time. Sometimes you are only notified about TV work at short notice but my flying duties lately have allowed me some free time to do it. I’m so grateful I’m lucky enough to do it when I can and be part of some amazing productions as well as my job as Cabin Crew so it was worth the 3500 mile trip to get on set.

There’s never a dull moment but I live by the motto that anything is possible with hard work and focus. If you can visualise it, you can achieve it.

“I would visualize things coming to me. It would just make me feel better. Visualization works if you work hard. That’s the thing. You can’t just visualize and go eat a sandwich.”
