After arriving home from such an amazing time in Cape Town and a few days rest, it was time to do a Euro Tour. On the 12th Jan we headed over to Dusseldorf. The time in Dusseldorf was a time to relax as the day after consisted of 2 flights and over to Prague. I only had around 6 hours to see some of Prague so once i had dinner, i headed down to The Old Town Square so i could at least experience a small part and get a feel of the ambience.
As i arrived at The Old Town Square, i couldn’t believe how beautiful it looked all lit up and The Church of Our Lady Before Týn wouldn’t have looked out of place in a fairy tale. The temperature was bitterly cold so i decided to sit down in one of the local cafes which had real flame patio heaters and had coffee. There was an organist playing in the square which added to the dramatic, magical atmosphere it had. It was as if the moment had its own soundtrack.
Unfortunately, time wasn’t on my side to explore more of Prague but from what i did see, its etched in my mind as somewhere beautiful that i will return to one day.
